Are you brave enough to tame the mighty Pokémon of the Wild Area? Get ready to explore an all-new landscape, filled with Electric and Poison-type Pokémon! There are plenty of secrets to uncover in this exciting new event, so let's take a deep dive and see what we can expect.
Date and Time
Pokémon GO Wild Area: Global will be a two-day event, beginning on Saturday, November 23 and ending on Sunday, November 24, 2024. The event will run from 10:00 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. local time each day.
Ticket Details
The GO Wild Area Ticket will be available from the in-game shop for $11.99 USD (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). You can also opt to purchase the Web Store version, which comes as part of the GO Wild Area Ultra Ticket Box, and contains the event Ticket, a Max Particle Pack, and an Egg Incubator at no added charge.
Toxel, Toxtricity & Dynamax Toxtricity
For the first time ever, 
Toxtricity✨, the Punk Pokémon, will be available to capture in Pokémon GO. In addition, you'll also be able to hatch its pre-evolution, 
Toxel✨, from 10 km Eggs. If that wasn't exciting enough, Gigantamax Toxtricity will be making its GO debut in Max Battles!

Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon
Primal 
Kyogre✨ and Primal 
Groudon✨ will appear in Primal Raids during the event. Don't miss your chance to catch these land and sea titans; they are some of the strongest Pokémon in the entire game!

Origin Forme Dialga and Origin Forme Palkia
Yet another powerful duo enters the scene to challenge you in raids during this event. The legendary 
Dialga✨ and 
Palkia✨ will appear in their Origin Formes and may know their signature Charged Attacks Roar of Time, and Spacial Rend. Additionally, these attacks may be taught to Origin Forme Dialga and Origin Forme Palkia via any TM during the Pokemon GO Wild Area: Global event.

Adventure Effects
Adventure Effects are temporary bonuses Trainers can utilize to help on your Pokémon GO adventure. Roar of Time and Spacial Rend are both attacks with Adventure Effects that can be used outside of battle. See below for details.

Trainers can activate the Adventure Effect associated with Roar of Time by using 5,000 Stardust and 5 Dialga Candy, distorting time for 6 minutes and pausing the timer of the following items: Incense, Daily Adventure Incense, Lucky Eggs, and Star Pieces. | Trainers can activate the Adventure Effect associated with Spacial Rend by using 5,000 Stardust and 5 Palkia Candy, distorting space for 10 minutes and allowing for encounters with wild Pokémon at an increased distance. |
You can extend the timer for Roar of Time’s Adventure Effect in increments of 6 minutes by using more Stardust and Dialga Candy. The timer can be extended up to two hours each time you tap Use, and you can tap Use again to add additional time—up to 24 hours total! | You can extend the timer for Spacial Rend’s Adventure Effect in increments of 10 minutes by using more Stardust and Palkia Candy. Introducing Mighty Pokémon
Unusually powerful Pokémon, known as mighty Pokémon, await you in the Wild Area. These Pokémon will have higher stats than normal and will be more difficult to capture. Certain Pokémon encountered or evolved during the event will also know a featured attack! The Pokémon you encounter will differ depending on what day you play. Safari Balls
Debuting globally during this event, GO Safari Balls are highly effective Poké Balls. Not only do they look cool with their camouflage design, but they also make capturing any Pokémon much easier. Try using one when encountering a mighty Pokémon!
All Trainers will receive a Timed Research task during the event that awards a small number of GO Safari Balls when completed. Additionally, you’ll have a chance to acquire GO Safari Balls when spinning Photo Discs at PokéStops during the event.
Pokémon GO Wild Area: Global ticket holders will receive one Timed Research task each hour during the event that awards additional GO Safari Balls. These tasks will expire one hour after they are issued, so all rewards must be claimed before then!
All unused GO Safari Balls will expire and disappear from your Item Bag at 6:15 p.m. local time each day of the event.
Event Themed Pokémon in the Wild
For all Trainers, event-themed Pokémon will appear in two unique habitats, Poison, and Electric, which will rotate hourly during the event! Plus, mighty Pokémon will be appearing throughout the day, regardless of habitat hour. See below for details.

During GO Wild Area: Global, all Trainers will have a chance to catch Pokémon with a Special Background after winning Max Battles against Toxtricity or winning four-star, five-star, and Primal Raids! These commemorative backgrounds will appear on the Pokémon’s summary page.
Event Bonuses
- No Remote Raid limit from Friday, November 22, to Sunday, November 24, 2024
- Daily limit for collecting Max Particles increased to 1,600
- Lure Modules activated will last for two hours
- Chance to catch Pokémon with a Special Background after winning Max Battles against Toxtricity or winning four-star, five-star, and Primal Raids
- Field Research themed around the different Pokémon habitats
- One GO Snapshot surprise event encounter per day—when taking snapshots during the event, you never know who might show up!

And for the first time in Pokémon GO, Trainers will be able to purchase new hairstyles for their avatar!
