How to Use Ultra Balls
To use Ultra Balls in Pokémon GO, players must first encounter a Pokémon to catch by tapping on a Pokémon on the map, completing a raid or Max Battle, or as a reward from certain Research Tasks.
Tap the Poké Ball in the bottom right and select Ultra Balls.
Throws receive grades based on how small the circle is. The smaller the circle, the better the grade, and the higher the chance the Pokémon will be caught.
