Ultra Ball Catch Modifier
Ultra Balls in Pokémon GO have a catch multiplier of 2x. This is higher than the 
Great Ball catch multiplier of 1.5x and the 
Poké Ball catch multiplier of 1x.
How to Get Ultra Balls
Ultra Balls are readily obtained by spinning Poké Stops and opening Gifts, but there are many ways a player can get more Ultra Balls.

Gift - Completing particular Field Research or Special Research tasks
- Weekly Adventure Sync rewards
- Poké Stop Showcase Rewards
- The in-game shop
Note: Ultra Balls are unlocked starting at level 20. Once a player reaches level 20, they can be obtained by spinning Poké Stops and Gyms and opening Gifts. Obtaining Ultra Balls before level 20 from certain Research Tasks and shop bundles is possible.
In the Shop
Ultra Balls are not always available in the shop. Sometimes, they appear in limited-time boxes.

How to Use Ultra Balls
To use Ultra Balls in Pokémon GO, players must first encounter a Pokémon to catch by tapping on a Pokémon on the map or as a reward for certain Research Tasks.
Tap the Poké Ball in the bottom right and select Ultra Balls.
Throws receive grades based on how small the circle is. The smaller the circle, the better the grade, and the higher the chance the Pokémon will be caught.
